**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our Trade Centre store in Kingsland. This is a permanent full time position and you’ll work 40 hours per week and there will be a rostered requirement to work on Saturday mornings. It's a requirement of this role that you hold a current drivers license and have your own mode of transport. Occasionally, you will need to work at the New Lynn store and possibly other local stores across Auckland, the competitive salary package reflects this

This fast paced and hands-on role will see you:

- Develop strong working relationships with depot/agencies
- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained
- Cash handling / EFTPOS
- Accurately mix and tint paint
- Assist in maintaining stock levels
- Comply with safety standards

**Skills & Experience**

You are confident with people, have great communication skills and can easily build strong relationships with peers, customers, clients etc. You are able to demonstrate a level of physical ability to work with our paint and other heavy products in store at times. In addition, you will bring to the role:

- Have the ability to communicate clearly with customers
- Enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues
- Confident and outgoing personality
