Part Time Wholefoods Retail Assistant in Mt Eden

We are looking for a part-time retail assistant with Wholefoods and nutrition knowledge for a store in Central Auckland. We can offer some flexibility with days but you would **need to include two weekday shifts.**
You'll need to have **strong customer service skills **, show proven reliability and commitment and have excellent, clear and concise communication skills. Its a busy store with a broad product range **so **experience on a cash register, or being good with numbers would be a benefit. **The role includes counter work as well as on the shop floor where you will be merchandising, packing and addressing customer queries regarding wholefoods, nutrition and cooking. In addition there could be some accounts / admin assistant work so experience in this area would also be an advantage.

Start date is asap.

Successful applicants must:

- **Be able to provide a high level of customer service and product knowledge. **Our customers are curious and have become accustomed to a high level of customer service.
- **Have a strong knowledge or interest in wholefood products and nutrition**:

- **Excellent communication skills**:

- Be comfortable dealing with customer queries. You can learn on the job, but a natural interest will help you progress.
- Be a team player who is willing to step in when needed (as you will be part of a small team)
- **Be able to deal with the physical part of the job **which includes packing and cleaning, heavy lifting, merchandising on shop floor and other general retail tasks.
