**About the role**:
We are looking for someone with relevant police, military, security or defense forces experience to facilitate our Pre-Police and Defense force career preparation courses to a wide range of students eager to join the industry.

You will be walking into an energetic environment where value is placed on delivering outcomes rather than micro-managing work and tasks. You will be given autonomy to work in a way that gets the best results and will be expected to take responsibility and make things happen. Some of your key responsibilities:

- Deliver our course in a way that brings our curriculum alive for the student in a fun, interactive and practical delivery mode
- Mentor students and track our student success through effective programme leadership
- Stay abreast of latest industry trends and make recommendations to programme design and assessment and curriculum development.
- Support with industry stakeholder engagement and nurturing relationships with existing partners for student placements, internships and other learning opportunities.
- Support our students gaining successful entrance into NZ Police, NZDF or other services of their choice

**About you**:
Delivering excellence in education to support our learners, you will be someone who ideally has a background in the services, connections within the community and the ability to mentor young learners and guide them through progressive educational achievement.
You will also need to have:

- Experience and knowledge in delivery of some or all the following modules: law and judicial systems, emergency response and risk management, fitness and health, injury management, community sport, outdoor education, coaching, literacy and numeracy
- Can work with a wide range of learning styles, personality types and ages while being flexible in your approach to student success.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a high performing team.
- Ability to use technology including Microsoft365 Suite
