Dance Tutor

Rangi Ruru Girls' School is a high achieving and innovative school for young women.  It caters for day and boarding students from Year 7 – Year 13.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dance Tutor with expertise in modern styles, primarily Jazz and Contemporary, to join our vibrant Performing Arts team.

This contractor position is ideal for someone passionate about inspiring young dancers, nurturing their talent, and fostering creativity in a supportive school environment. You will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with our top dance troupe, helping them refine their technique, expand their artistry, and shine on stage.

Term time only - Monday's 3-4pm & Wednesday's 7.45 – 8.35am.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in dance and performing arts during school term time.
• Work with students across a range of ages and abilities.
• Support choreography, stagecraft, and performance preparation for events.
• Collaborate with the Performing Arts team to enrich the school's vibrant arts culture.

We're looking for someone who is

• A qualified and experienced tutor in dance and/or performing arts.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, professional approach to working with young people.
• Flexibility to work as a contractor during term time.
