**Our company**:
We're a small creative team that delivers STEM workshops to students and communities across New Zealand. We began in Auckland in 2017 teaching after-school coding classes, and since then have expanded to Christchurch, and expanded our offerings to also teach robotics, electronics, 3D Design and printing, science, Minecraft, and more Our goal is to make STEM exciting and accessible for all, ensuring all our attendees leave our workshops feeling confident and proud of their newly developed skills.

**About the Role**:
As a Technology Tutor, you’ll deliver our STEM curriculum to students, families, and communities in settings such as schools, libraries, and community spaces.

We are want our new tutor to be in charge of gear maintenance and repairs which would include fixing laptops, inventorying our robotics and electronics kits, setting up our 3D printing courses, and maintaining all equipment to a high and ready to use standard.

In this new territory (we arrived in Christchurch in July this year), you’ll also take on growth responsibilities to grow our presence in a new city, including meeting with stakeholders (alongside our manager), and delivering advertising material.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach STEM topics in fun, practical ways to groups or individuals (in-person and online).
- Maintaining and repairing our equipment and resources when required:

- In particular Minecraft accounts, 3D printers, and laptops.
- Ensure all necessary resources are prepared, set up, and packed away for each class.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and session outcomes.
- Report regularly to our manager regarding students, equipment, and class interactions.
- Participate in training sessions to upskill and stay updated on our curriculum.
- Plan and manage events and workshops in collaboration with local organisations.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working with students in group settings (necessary).
- Strong technology skills (necessary).
- Experience working at or running events (a bonus).
- A confident leader.
- Independence and adaptability.
- Resilience and a solutions focused approach to challenges.
- Private, reliable transport (necessary).
- Availability 3 - 4 weekday afternoons + a few other flexible daytime / infrequent weekend hours
