**What you’ll be doing**:
The role of Network Migration Specialist is to deliver network augmentation activities that support Chorus in achieving its strategic goals. Providing support and guidance to our process partners, ensuring they understand our internal process, regulatory requirements, and end user obligations.
Some key aspects of the role are:
- Manage the field tech’s activity during physical augmentation to ensure end customer connectivity meets network standards and regulatory obligations for outages are adhered to.
- Communicate effectively with Service Delivery Managers and Retail Service Providers about our handover products, their limitations, and any potential the end customer impacts. Work with these teams to deliver complex solutions to meet their aggregation network requirements.
- Support new technology delivery and lifecycle upgrades in line with CTO’s vision
- Provide SME support the copper withdrawal programme and support the consolidation of our copper network.
**What you’ll bring to the table**:
- Strong team player who supports learning and uplifts the capabilities of others within the team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complicated concepts and complex technical information to multiple levels of audience.
- An understanding of the Chorus networks, and its limitations as well as sound knowledge of Chorus systems
- Good under pressure with analytical thinking and problem solving ability
- Strong personal energy, self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible.
