**Abou**t the opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Engineer to join our Growing team in Reporoa. This is a fixed-term position, working Monday through to Thursday, 6am - 4pm, supporting our Maintenance Engineer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Maintenance Engineer in day-to-day operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed.
- Help maintain a safe and organised environment.

**About you**:

- No prior trade qualification needed, but a strong interest in engineering and metal work is essential.
- Experience working with metal would be essential - Basic Welding, Grinding, Cutting etc
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
