We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team, based in Tauranga.

What will you do?

In this position you will join our Transport business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘Bring Ideas to Life’ for our clients. With focus on a range of major to mid-sized Infrastructure projects, we are actively recruiting for those who are passionate about working collaboratively and building on technical knowledge.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’ within this role:

- Scoping and managing the delivery of geotechnical projects
- Site investigation, site inspections, planning studies, geological interpretation & modelling
- Managing investigation contractors & liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Contribution to proposals & technical reports
- Geotechnical analysis & design
- Advising and meeting with clients, working collaboratively across Aurecon teams (ground engineering, buildings, bridges, highways, rail, energy & industrial spaces)
