**About the Role**:
As the Lead Site Reliability Engineer you’ll responsible for ensuring our platform is scalable, resilient and reliable. You’ll achieve to increase the development team's efficiency by providing infrastructure and tooling that makes their lives easier and maintain a culture and habit of continuous improvement.

You’ll have one direct report within the SRE team, and you’ll be ensuring the retention and personal development of SRE team members.

**You’ll have**:

- Knowledge of current trends, tooling and best practices within the industry for infrastructure, deployment and monitoring
- Knowledge of change management, incident management and continual improvement best practices practices
- Understanding of chaos engineering and other modern practices to test system resiliency on a continual basis
- Ability to create basic models to support capacity planning and budget management
- Technical expertise in scripting, automation and configuring complex systems
- Development - key programming concepts, patterns, some level of workable knowledge of: golang, jsonnet, HCL, bash

**+ Experience with some of these tools**:

- AWS
- Kubernetes or a similar container orchestration technology
- Prometheus
- Terraform (Bonus points for Terraform Cloud)
- Gitlab CI
- Spinnaker or Octopus
