**We The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior solicitor or senior associate with 5+ years' PQE to join our exceptional TMT team based in Auckland.

Working with partners Allan Yeoman and Philip Wood, you will work with blue-chip clients in the private and public sectors, a range of tech start-ups, private equity and venture capital firms, broadcasting and media entities, and healthtech and healthcare sector agencies, offering advice on commercial contracting, technology procurement and supply projects, technology and content licensing, privacy, media and entertainment issues, marketing campaigns, and content productions and acquisitions.

The team also works closely with Buddle Findlay’s corporate M&A team on tech and telco sector transactions providing specialist knowledge and support. You will have a steady diet of varied work that is interesting, complex and challenging while being part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

**What matters to us

- Have relevant experience working in a TMT or corporate and commercial team with at least some of that experience obtained in New Zealand
- Be able to work with clients on large-scale IT projects, advise on TV content licensing and production, and be familiar with New Zealand's privacy legislation
- Be adept at contract drafting and negotiation. Experience advising on the Fair Trading Act 1986 and other relevant regulatory areas would also be valued Enjoy working collaboratively within the team, across the firm and with a wide array of clients.
