**About the opportunity**:
Our client is Wellington’s local producer of premium gourmet fresh meats & handcrafted small goods. They have established a reputation for producing the finest quality small goods from wholesome natural ingredients, using quality recipes, many of which were based on traditional old English, Irish and Continental European methods.

**Role description**:
You will be joining a team of 4 really strong production team members. The role is a combination of putting orders through and packaging. You will also be handling paperwork and computer usage for data entry and printing labels

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Slice & package products as per production plan & process orders for dispatch
- Maintain a clean workspace, and excellent Food Safety standards
- Update sales team on product availability
- Process invoices and other administration requirements for dispatch
- Produce consignment sheets for distributions partners
- Ensure food safety policies are adhered

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- Food handling experience e.g. worked in kitchens, food production or catering
- Computer skills - An understanding of Microsoft software especially Excel
- Physically fit since role involves lifting cartons & movement of pallets
- Understanding of food safety and standards is a bonus
