**The Opportunity**:
This is a wonderful opportunity for laboratory professionals to gain a breadth of knowledge around extraction and testing with the Wellington Laboratory Environmental team.
We have a Permanent Full Time Technician opportunity in which responsibilities include
- Preparing and analysing samples in a variety of environmental aspects
- Working with instrument operation and data processing.
- Providing exemplary analysis and attention to detail and
- Communicating results and analysis clearly and professionally with other members of this team

You'll have a friendly, professional, enthusiastic team around you willing to share their knowledge and learn from your switched on, proactive way of working.
**About you**:
Please be advised this is a permanent full time opportunity working, on a Monday - Friday shift with some flexibility to work overtime as the lab is functioning 6 days a week
To be considered for the role will require
- A passion for science and quality
- Previous experience working in a fast paced, communicative environment
- Exemplary attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data management and the ability to prioritise processes.
- Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos

Previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is well received in this role and a background or qualification in Science is well regarded.
