**Position **Restaurant & Bar Manager

**Reports to** General Manager

**Main Purpose of the Job**

Coordinate and manage the day-to-day function in the following F&B outlets; Restaurant, Bar, Mini-bar, Room Service & Executive Lounge, while creating a guest centric team culture and maximising profitability.

**Key Duties**
- Leadership, Coaching & Management of all Restaurant and Bar team members, effectively training and developing to ensure the highest service standard is reached
- Ensure staff are competent and knowledgeable in dining menu, special offers and wine list and can maximise outlet sales.
- Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met - creating Heartist moments.
- Mentoring team members to encourage internal talent development
- Working with the Executive Chef and Kitchen team to enhance menu design and service team menu knowledge..
- Assist in the preparation monthly restaurant and bar reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant and bar area.
- Ensure constant liaison with the Meetings & Events, banquets operations and other departments as required.
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, utensils and other materials
- To ensure beverage and food par stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Set up systems to protect and maintain control of operating equipment.
- To be present at peak periods in service areas and when required.
- Monitor weekly cleaning schedule for F&B outlets to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards
- Monitor procedures to ensure guest billing is correctly charged and cash up procedures are followed as per the guidelines during every meal period.
- Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.
- Adhere to any other reasonable request as required by Hotel Management
