**Position Title**

Front of House for Restaurant and Bar

**Objective of position**

To effect the overall smooth and efficient operation of the business with the primary focus of fostering an on-going positive working relationship with the customer base.

To maximise sales volumes and profitability.

**Report to**

General Manager/ Duty Manager

**Responsible for**

Day to day, Cleaners

**Relationship with**

Owner, Staff, Customers, Suppliers, Local Authorities (ARLA, Police, RPH etc)

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Amendment Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2003
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor and gaming licence/s
- Be aware of their obligations pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the company’s liquor licence is not jeopardised—this includes patron conduct and intoxication
- Ensure the bar & restaurant area and behind the bar are kept clean and tidy at all times and in accordance to specified standards
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy and in good working condition
- To arrive to their shift on time, upholding a high standard of cleanliness & a tidy appearance
- Maintain a positive attitude towards their work & the team
- Participate as a constructive member of the team with the view to maximising business sales volumes and profitability
- Complete other general duties as the Manager may require from time to time

**relevant qualification/ experience**
- Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $21.20 - $23.00 per hour
