We are looking for:

- A Planner with 1-4 years experience; and
- An intermediate Planner with 4+ years relevant professional experience

We need planners who have:

- A range of consenting experience in development projects
- A working knowledge of district and regional planning and consenting
- Proven written and verbal communications skills along with problem solving/strategic thinking
- Strong understanding of the NZ planning framework
- Ability to work to deadlines
- An NZPI recognised planning degree

We're looking for qualified planners to join our planning team. You will be working closely our urban design and architecture team, and alongside the wider Woods engineering and survey teams. The role will focus on a mixture of projects including acquiring resource consents for a range of development projects and planning due diligence.

Woods is looking for people who can manage a range of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that cover submissions on plan changes, planning due diligence, and acquiring resource consents for a range of infrastructure and development projects. You will take a lead in ensuring planning projects are seen to fruition, and you will be required to use your critical thinking, strategic problem solving and people skills to develop planning solutions and prepare reports and evidence for presentation at council hearings.
