**The Role**

This role is ased in Hamilton and reports to our Central North Island Area Manager.

As the Hamilton Schools Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of the site, key relationships with our customers and the daily operation of the contracted bus services within the area. The services include Charters, School, Special Education School Transport Assistance (SESTA), Flex Ride-Share on Demand and Airport Shuttles. You will support the entire Hamilton and surrounding areas' operation to ensure all runs are completed on time and contractual obligations are met and exceeded.

Mataining a high performing and engaged team by building long-term, meaningful relationships with your direct reports and wider team. You will ensure that enough fully trained staff are available in all transport service delivery areas and that quality and safe procedures are incorporated in all passenger transport and charter coach operations. You will ensure all operations, people and services are managed in accordance with all Company policies, procedures, processes and ensure all administration duties are completed on time and as specified.

A key element of this role will be building relationships with our key stakeholders and customers, while also driving improvements through a continuous improvement mindset, developing other business opportunities and building our charter business.

**Experience sought for the position are**:

- Level 3 NCEA or equivalent (evidence of Business/Operations related higher education is desirable)
- Class 2 licence
- P Endorsement (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience in managing a team
- At least 3 years’ experience in a large passenger service industry or similar
- Experience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships with significant organisations
