An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing administrative functions and supporting various aspects of the business, including financial management, customer service, and sales and marketing. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact on the company's operations and contribute to its continued success.
**Role description**:
This is a hands-on, autonomous role and you will be responsible for the management of administrative systems and office management, including sales and customer service responsibilities
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Manage and maintain the MYOB system, ensuring data backup and developing efficient procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of all documentation and standard office forms.
- Sole Charge Office Management
- Handle debtor-related tasks, including receipting deposits, generating customer invoices, and managing the debtors database.
- Process suppliers' invoices, arrange timely payments, and verify invoices for accuracy.
- Coordinate payroll, manage wage payments, and handle related reports and records.
**This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities**:
- 3+ years as office administrator / manager or similar role
- Previous experience with MYOB (advantageous)
- Ability to pick up new systems and software quickly
- Strong skills in the Microsoft suite - Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure with multiple deadlines
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, proactive and solutions-focused with the ability to problem-solve
- Experience in the construction sector would be a bonus, but not essential
