**About the role**

Due to internal movement, we are looking for a new Team Leader to lead, empower and support a quality focused team of technicians responsible for the maintenance of all Communications, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) equipment across the South Island. This position is based in Christchurch and better known inside Airways as (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Team Leader).

With a geographically dispersed team of technicians across the South Island, you will manage the day-to-day scheduling, workflow and prioritisation of work activities and drive continuous improvement within the CNS and ATM function, resolving issues and ensuring our mission critical infrastructure is fully operational.

**What you will bring**:

- Successful applicants will need to have a relevant engineering qualification, specialising in electronics
- Experience in radio and data communications and an Electrician or Electrical Service Technician Practicing License
- Systems-level knowledge of Air Navigation systems and Air Traffic Management equipment
- Exceptional people skills and values that meet or exceed Airways values
