**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

The majority of this role will be as a valued member of the Medical Oncology and Haematology multidisciplinary teams, managing patients across both inpatient and outpatients settings. There is the potential to participate in and lead service improvement, resource development and other innovative practice. In addition to practicing primarily within medical oncology and haematology, you will also provide clinical service to adult inpatient wards, with exact caseload yet to be determined. This role does not include overnight shifts, but once appropriate competencies have been completed, it would include participation in our weekend on call roster.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian to join our fun and supportive team of dietitians at Wellington Regional Hospital. We are a group of 18 dietitians who work across inpatient and outpatient settings. We are a highly dedicated and patient-focused team of clinicians. As a member of our team of dietitians at Wellington Hospital you will be supported with regular professional development opportunities to assist you in meeting your continuing competency requirements, as well as regular clinical supervision

Working with a diverse group of patients with significant health needs, you’ll demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills and have a flexible, problem solving approach. You will have the ability to quickly build strong working relationships with patients, whānau and the wider multidisciplinary team and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
