**About the Role**
The post-holder will be responsible for assessment and management of nutritional requirements of inpatients and outpatients within the Child Health Service. They will also support the wider dietetic team as clinical demand requires and support the ongoing development of the paediatric dietetic service, with opportunities to develop and be involved in specialty MDT teams.
You will be well supported by the CCDHB dietetic team and will also be an integral part of the Child Health Service. The paediatric dietitians at Capital & Coast are well respected and supported by the wider Child Health team including MDT colleagues, nurse specialists and medical staff.
**About the Team/Service Location**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian to join our fun and supportive team of dietitians at Wellington Regional Hospital. We are a group of approx. 18 dietitians who work across inpatient and outpatient settings. We are a highly dedicated and patient-focused team of clinicians. We have a strong reputation for excellent practice. As a member of our team of dietitians at Wellington Hospital you will be supported with regular professional development opportunities to assist you in meeting your continuing competency requirements, as well as regular clinical supervision.
**About you**
- Working with a diverse group of paediatric patients with significant health needs, you'll demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills and have a flexible, problem solving approach.
- You will have the ability to quickly build strong working relationships with patients, whānau and the wider multidisciplinary team and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- You are passionate about being the best dietitian you can be, thrive on working in a team setting, and are focussed on putting the patient at the centre of everything you do.
