**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We are looking for a **Process Systems Specialist **Dryer 3 **to join our busy team, based at our Dunsandel site. The Dryer 3 plant is a key part of the Synlait nutritional operation and this position is a critical member of the Dryer 3 operational team.

This role has a focus of ensuring that all process systems are efficient and effective and able to support the delivery of the manufacturing plan. Accountabilities include making sure that all Quality, Safety, IWS, TPM, SAP, In-batch and internal automations systems are optimised and supported for delivery of production targets, quality and people.

Your skills and experience will enable you to manage a diverse range of problems which need to be analysed, a combination of solutions considered, and then appropriate action taken, often within a tight timeframe. You will also lead the team to eliminate systems-based process failures.

People leadership, specialist and technical expertise and the ability to make prompt clear decisions will be key to your success

**Qualification**
- Tertiary degree, diploma or minimum 5 years in a dairy manufacturing environment

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven understanding of dairy manufacturing processes and systems
- Proven knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems
- Manage risk/returns and mitigating potential issues
- Experience in leading, developing, and engaging teams
