We're looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join for an organisation that strives to positively contribute to a sizeable population.

This role is responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies, plans and campaigns that support the outcomes. The Senior Marketing Specialist will work closely with members of the Communications department, internal customers, the wider team, representatives to ensure organisational objectives are delivered through innovative and engaging marketing programmes, and value for money is delivered for customers.

**Key relationships will include**:

- Be aware of, and demonstrate, the principles of Our Charter. This sets out

- inclusivity and adaptability in every aspect of our work.
- Develop and deliver insight-led marketing strategies (including content
- marketing) and plans to support the delivery of the communications and marketing programme
- Lead the development of the our client in Progress
- campaigns to support the midtown development programme, including
- development of creative and media briefs and content marketing plans
- Manage the delivery of clear and effective marketing campaigns, initiatives
- and sponsorships across internal and external target audiences and
- stakeholder groups
- Manage the day-to-day campaign relationship with creative and media
- agencies engaged by council including preparing briefs and overseeing
- workflow and delivery
- Undertake post implementation reviews including performance
- measurement, and report findings to key stakeholders
- Coordinate the bi-annual research, in conjunction with the
- department’s research team
- Meet budgeting and reporting requirements associated with the marketing programme
- Participate in and contribute to cross-council marketing forums and
- communication groups
- Contribute to the development of the department strategy and plan linked to
- the organisation’s strategic objectives and priorities
- Support the creation of content for earned and owned communication
- channels.
- Provide strategic advice to team and department colleagues to support
- integrated and effective marketing and communications planning

**We are seeking a person who is skilled in**:

- Tertiary qualification in a marketing or communication or a related discipline
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing and communications
- 5 years’ experience in delivering communication strategies and plans
- Proven experience in developing and executing content marketing strategies
- Experience at leading project or virtual teams
- Experience of business and communications planning
- Experience in developing and implementing integrated programmes and
- services
- Proven experience in developing, maintaining and fostering strong
- relationships with key stakeholders
