Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
A priority of the government is to close gender and ethnic pay gaps and achieve pay equity across Aotearoa New Zealand. To deliver this, a dedicated pay equity team operates within Te Kawa Mataaho responsible for developing and leading best practice guidance, support and advice on the pay equity process. With increased responsibilities, this group is growing. In this role you will contribute to the Pay Equity Advice and Assurance teams work programme under the Framework for Oversight and Support of Pay Equity Claims in the Funded Sector. You will be responsible for the detailed collection for contracting data and information for the extension of the pay equity settlement for NGO social workers. You will have a strong knowledge of the community sector funding and contracting environment and excellent skills in constructing fit for purpose, user friendly, data collection systems. To be successful you will be a great problem solver with an ability to innovate and find solutions. You will be able to communicate effectively to range of audiences and ensure engagement and participation. You will be able to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders within Te Kawa Mataaho and with external parties, including government agencies, union representatives, businesses and community leaders.
This position usually pays between $122,380 to $150,940 depending on skills and experience.
