Principal Data Analyst - 4 months contract - Wellington

**Your new role**
In your new role you will be primarily responsible for the development and support of data analytics methods and approaches. You will take the lead on projects and continuous improvement of products and services; provides coaching and mentoring of others across the team.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing business and functional requirements in partnership with business and technology teams
- Provide regular updates regarding progress and achievement of the role’s agreed business and reporting targets
- Leading, planing and managing complex analytical projects to deliver high quality strategic research
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Very good experience in R
- Experience in using a range of research methodologies and evaluation designs and latest developments in techniques and practices
- Strong process-oriented skills and drive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
