We have an exciting position become available - We have a great opportunity for experienced and qualified mental health support workers looking for a full-time permanent job role in Palmerston North. We are looking for dynamic, energetic and conscientious individuals that can support our clients within the clients own homes.

We are looking for people who would be comfortable working on a roster (weekends included). If successful you will be joining a team of skilled staff, working within a positive and supportive environment.

**Role**
As a Mental Health Support Worker:

- You will work closely with our clients to provide support as they go about their daily tasks.
- You will be responsible for maintaining their safety and well-being.
- You will support people in achieving positive goals in their lives and contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the services.
- Have supportive mindsets in supporting our clients to achieve their goals / independent living in the community
- A level 4 or other relevant qualifications in mental health is desirable but not essential.
- A full drivers license and confidence driving a mobility van (training can be provided)
- Previous experience is preferred but comprehensive training will be provided
- Flexibility to cover shifts do roster work and comfortable working weekends
- Great communication skills
- NZ Residency or valid NZ Open Work Visa
- Evidence of your vaccination status (as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 which specifies that all frontline workers must be vaccinated)
