Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Business Intelligence Data & Analytics team manages the processes to source data across the health system, including responsibility for data governance. The team are responsible for delivering a wide range of analytical outputs, along with reporting for operational, governance and management purposes. These outputs are typically developed against the Data Warehouse which is shared by all five South Island District Health Boards.
We are seeking Business Intelligence Analytics staff to provide timely and accurate reporting & analytical assistance to management and clinicians throughout the DHB. This role would suit someone who is a team player, enjoys working collaboratively and who is able to communicate well with a wide range of people. If you enjoy a challenge, then this role could be a great fit for you.

This is a permanent, full time role based in the Canterbury DHB Corporate office in Christchurch.

**This role requires the following skills**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Post-graduate experience in a Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence role
- SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS are required/highly advantageous.
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office and other industry standard analysis tools, and be capable of creating data analysis using these tools
- Interest or experience in advanced analytical techniques through to Data Science would be an advantage for a more senior opportunity
- Previous experience with health data, and/or corporate data (particularly human resources data) would be an advantage
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and produce best practice Business Intelligence solutions, including documentationMō mātou | About Us
