Locations: Auckland or Christchurch
We are looking for several painters to join our teams either in Auckland or Christchurch. You will
work on construction projects and sites.
This role will be a permanent, full-time position and with 40 hours of work per week (from Monday
to Saturday). You will be paid an hourly rate of $26.69 - $30.00 depending on your experience and
skill level. Paid fortnightly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Understands and applies quality control techniques
- Use painting tools and equipment, as well as handling painting materials
- Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills
- Performs incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the
whole task.
- As appropriate to training level, able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity
with established operational standards.
- Exercises good interpersonal communication skills.
- Performs work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.

- Calculate and cost construction work
- Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding, Work safely at heights, Operate elevated
work platforms, Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems
- Handle painting and decorating materials
- Use painting and decorating tools and equipment
- Remove and replace doors and door and window components
- Prepare surfaces for painting
decorative paint finishes
- Implement safe lead paint and asbestos work practices in the painting industry
- Glaze/reglaze residential windows and doors
- Fulfill other duties as required
At least three years of on-site work experience or painting skills certificate
No history of substance abuse and must have a clean criminal record.

style depending upon the audience.

and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
