Painters Ink is your local painting specialist for your houses in Auckland. Due to the expansion of our company, we are in need of 10 painting labourers to commit in continuing to provide outstanding services to our customers.
**Job Title**:Painting labourers
**Hourly rate**: $26.69 to $30
**Number of vacancies**:10
**Job location**: Auckland
**Employment type**: Permanent Full-time
**Minimum and Maximum Hours per week**: 30 60 hours
**Job description**:
- Protect the carpets, windows and other adjacent areas from paint splattering by placing drop
- Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel
- Removing old paint from surfaces, using paint removers, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for
- Fills holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other filler, using a caulking gun and putty
- Select premixed paints, or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare a colour that matches specified
- Paint surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or paint
- Keep repair and maintenance records.
**Job pre-requisites**:
- Experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, however, it would be advantageous if you have any prior relevant experience
- Honest, punctual with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn as well as willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test are a must
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
