**Requirements**:

- Have at least NZQF Level 1 qualification, or compulsory secondary education (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification)
- Having experience or skills in painting is a bonus but not required

**Specific Tasks**
- loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment and transporting them around building sites
- erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
- preparing all material for a painter
- cleaning and carrying out all tasks required on the construction site
- washing and cleaning all equipment
- Returning all equipment to the designated area and storing
- remove all other articles
- all other related tasks

**Helping Tasks**
- Assisting a painter in erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
- Assisting a painter in preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
- Assisting a painter in selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
- Assisting a painter in hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
- Assisting a painter in masking film
- Assisting a painter in cleaning equipment and work areas
- Assisting a painter in may repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames
- Assisting a painter in may lay and repair wall and floor tiles

**Other detail**
- This is a full-time and permanent position
- Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly
- Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
- You will be working in Auckland
- Business normal hours of operation are from Monday to Saturday 7.00 am 5.00 pm.
- You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week (a maximum of 48 hours) within the businesss normal hours of operation.
