We now have a
**permanent, fulltime** opportunity to join our Rating Engines team as a Tester based anywhere in New Zealand.

In this role you will be supporting the team in delivering accurate premiums and robust underwriting rules through the testing of new rate and new rules. You will also be regression testing existing rating and underwriting rules across multiple products within the NZ business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and build automated testing for the moderately complex Pricing and Underwriting Rules within IAG Rating Engines
- Support the pricing and portfolio teams with detailed, consistent, and accurate pricing and underwriting information
- Actively engage with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet customer expectations
- Identify and raise risks and concerns in relation to pricing and customer impacts

**Skills & Experience**:
To perform this role, you will have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving, as well as experience using a wide variety of tools to perform your testing and create test assets for the organization. You will also have:

- A programming automation background. We use Rating Engine software such as Duck Creek Technologies, Guidewire and/or Earnix. We recognize this is quite specialized so training will be provided if there is software you haven’t had exposure to previously.
- Most of our new test cases are in Python but experience in the use of Python, C#, SAS, SQL, R, JIRA and/or Confluence would be an advantage.
- Sound communication skills and the ability to be a team player
