PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
- Drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within Sports Specialist accounts and related categories, while maintaining and enhancing the premium image of the adidas Group. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening key retail partnerships, ensuring flawless execution of the go-to-market process, and delivering exceptional brand and commercial outcomes.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver net sales targets across assigned Run Speciality/Outdoor and Football Specialty accounts - across categories Running, Football, Outdoor, & NZ Distributors.
- Manage account budgets, including cost centre and customer sales working budgets.
- Execute the Go-to-Market (GTM) process - forecasting, pre-lines, sell-in customer meetings, and range selections in alignment with seasonal products, technologies and concepts.
- Develop and execute tailored Account Marketing Plans aligned with customer portfolio and strategic priorities.
- Manage weekly and monthly order book processes to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
- Analyse sell-through performance and translate insights into commercial actions.
- Understand both the Performance and Technical eco-system and identify opportunities to develop new business, being an advocate for the assigned Key Account/s.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and maintain strategic account plans.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the performance and fashion segments.
- Monitor competitor activity and implement responsive, strategic actions.
- Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customers' performances (all KPIs including Pre-orders, NS, Conversion, Returns, Credit Notes, Trade Investments).
- Conduct regular customer visits in line with store visit guidelines (VM, re-orders, POS materials, storytelling)Deliver impactful product and technology training to partners, store teams and Podiatrists to grow brand credibility and sell out.

- Achievement of sales, profitability, and growth targets within assigned accounts.
- Forecast accuracy and order book management efficiency.
- Improvement in customer sell-through and conversion metrics.
- Execution quality of GTM milestones and marketing activations.
- Customer satisfaction and relationship strength across key stakeholders.

- External: Buyer’s, Planners and Franchisee Partners
- Internal: Brand team, CTC / Category teams, Finance, Supply Chain

- Wholesale Experience and local market experience is a must
REQUISITE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 4-5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Field Sales, or a similar commercial role with strong understanding of the local market
- Industry - Understanding of and experience with sports/footwear technology or passionate about the sports within your category: Hiking, Football, Running etc
- Proven track record in delivering sales growth and managing strategic accounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
