Our client, a large public sector organisation, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Data Analytics team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with other business groups to bring opportunities to life by leading engagements, providing guidance to the team, developing the structure, reports and objects which allow our client to deliver data back to their audiences in formats that give the business the critical insights required for confident decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop smart business solutions from complex data sources using the tools utilized by the Data Analytics team.
- Wrangle, mutate and present data using programming languages such as R, SQL, SAS.
- Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Power BI that have created positive impact.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders and lead conversations to create clear plans and ideas on how our team’s skills can improve their business areas.
- Clearly communicate complex ideas to stakeholders and team members.
- Guide the team in best practices and help colleagues grow as Analysts.
- Share your skills and knowledge with those around you.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in programming languages such as R, SQL, SAS.
- Proven experience in visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into understandable terms.
- Passionate learner and teacher, always keen to pick up new skills and understand new ideas.
