**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
As the Senior Advisor, Workplace Environments you report to the Director Partnerships and Engagement giving specialist advice on workplace trends to further improve MBIE as a workplace. You will oversee, educate, and support project delivery teams on workplace environments standards and the overarching framework as well as guide implementation into delivery programmes.
Reporting to the Director Partnerships and Engagement further key duties include:
- Provide specialist advice to delivery teams on flexible working guidelines, workplace trends and innovation.
- Develop and maintain a Workplace Environment Framework, ensuring guidelines are relevant and translated into clear processes.
- Support the Director Partnerships and Engagement and other teams across MBIE by ensuring property initiatives are underpinned by flexible working standards.
- Take a creative, practical, and proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
- Identify workplace environments issues and trends and provide advice on critical areas of workplace environment strategies.

- Demonstrated experience in property strategy and/or workplace environments.
- Knowledge and experience of flexible working environments best practice.
- Strong evaluation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex projects and programmes.
- Strong relationship skills and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Effective communications, including strong report writing ability.
- Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff.
- Understanding of Government operating procedures.
