**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). In this role, the responsibilities include assisting research teams to conduct various clinical trials, invoicing of clinical trial activities and maintaining functionality of CTU facilities and equipment.

This is a fixed term (12 months), full time opportunity.

The remuneration is $64,093 - $72,114 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

Our team supports and oversees research activities in both Wellington Regional Hospital and Hutt Hospital. We have a great team with majority of staff having experience in many research-related areas dedicated to improving health outcomes for our communities, with a strong focus on equity of Māori, Pacific peoples and people with disabilities.

**Moū - About you**

Key skills and experience:

- Research and/or clinical trial experience
- Demonstrate understanding of ethics in relation to clinical research
- Evidence of recent hospital experience and expertise
- Demonstrable advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Office, Outlook and web based communications.
- Understanding of and a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
