**Commercial Sales Executive Wellington at Jacobsen Creative Surfaces**

**Do you have sales experience within the Architectural/Specification/Design arena?**

Jacobsen is a private, wholly owned family run business that imports and distributes commercial and residential flooring products. Jacobsen has been in business for 60 years. We operate branch offices in each of NZ's main centres (Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch), with our Head Office and National Distribution Centre based in Auckland.

**Overall Objective**:
To promote and sell the complete range of Jacobsen products directly and indirectly to Architects, Specifiers, Designers and Contractors and achieve GP budgets allocated to these customers and products.

**Key responsibilities, not limited to**:

- Manage accounts - Flooring Contractors and Architects/Specifiers in Wellington.
- Promote and sell the complete Jacobsen range of products.

**Key skills for this role**:
**Commercial / Architectural / Specification sales experience in the building services industry (advantageous).**
- Having influence or existing relationships within the education and healthcare sectors, advantageous.
- A good competence in relationship building, negotiation and selling skills.
- Determined, able to persevere to win business, build business growth and customer loyalty.
- Self-starter but able to follow through with agreed sales plans.
- Organised, detailed, and able to follow through with customer requests and complaints.
- Team player, able to work with other salespersons to share knowledge and sales leads.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent computer skills e.g. MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel), CRM systems, etc.
- Willingness to embrace change and evolution.
- Entrepreneurial outlook to deliver exceptional performance.
- Champion of a positive culture
- Solutions based attitude
