**The Role**

We’re seeking an experienced site supervisor for our Tauranga branch. The role reports to the project manager on site and includes managing a team, overseeing day to day operation and ensuring work is done in a safe manner.

**Key responsibilities**
- Supervising blasting and painting projects team
- Travel to great project locations around New Zealand
- Work across project timeline delivery schedules
- Setup, maintain and operate hydro & abrasive blasting gear
- Setup, maintain and operate painting gear (brush, airless and conventional)
- Setup, maintain and operate ventilation and air compressors.
- Ensure high HSE compliance
- Working at heights and in confined spaces
- Read, understand and work to coating specifications (predominantly Carboline)
- Carry out daily coating inspection reports
- Complete daily site diaries and time sheets on Procore

**The successful applicant will ideally have**:

- Great wages ($35.00 - 45.00 per hour - depending on experience)
- 3 years blasting and painting experience (with various paint systems)
- Background in high HSE compliance
- Fluent proficiency in English
- Full driver's license (must be able to drive a manual)
- NACE 1 or equivalent (Desirable)
- IRATA rope access qualification or similar (Desirable)
- Water blasting experience (Desirable)
- Forklift and Telehandler license (Desirable)
- Hazardous substance handling certification (Desirable)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize (Desirable)

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tauranga, Bay of Plenty: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- NACE: 3 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
