This position is responsible for the overall business and financial operation of all Sea Freight related activities for the branch. With an emphasis on discovering your potential and determination to connect with your fellow forwarders, this is an opportunity for you to thrive in a close and supportive team environment, valuing active listening and diversity of thinking.

**What you will be responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Direct, guide and support staff to achieve optimum performance
- Establish and maintain Sea Freight and customer relationships
- Data base management including invoicing and quoting
- Be responsible for the overall performance for the Sea Freight operations and ensure management intensity is maintained in key performance areas
- Facilitate the provision of operational supports including import and export documentation, synchronisation of origin/destination zone transport, customs formalities and the overall scope of the door to door trade
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback for department
- Constantly monitor cost control efforts within the Department
- Provide drive and motivation to the department, by leading from the front

**About You**:

- 5-7 years of experience in a senior Sea Freight operations role or similar position
- Experience utilising CargoWise One
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management and a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
