We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the team at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s in Auckland as an **Retail Shift Leader.**

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for day to day supervision of the Retail team, ensuring high quality guest experience and financial targets are met.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring and supporting profitable and smooth operations of Retail outlets, in cooperation with admissions
- Merchandising, ordering and stocking the outlets to maximise best product sales
- Training your team on up-selling and merchandising
- Ensuring cleanliness of stockrooms and surrounding areas
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guests have a memorable experience
- Motivate and support staff to ensure maximum engagement of team
- Shared responsibility to cover duty manager shifts

**About You**

To shine in this role, you will ideally have strong leadership skills and experience in a customer facing environment. A passion for working in the tourism/attraction industry is essential. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, as well as good computer skills and the ability to multi task.
