**TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE NOW**

Our client is located near Pleasant Point and is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of a major piece of local infrastructure.

They need some administrative support in their team and have an exciting short-term opportunity for someone to join them and make use of their study or prior work experience within the civil engineering space.

This could suit an engineering graduate seeking some on-the-job experience, or an administrator who has had exposure to civil engineering environments.

Key duties will include:

- Assisting with day-to-day administrative activities relating to infrastructure safety
- Collating data and creating detailed reports
- Liaising with key professional bodies
- Potential to be trained on infrastructure inspections and site checks
- Navigating specialist systems (eg the NIWA dashboard) to source data
- Using the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Applicants should be comfortable learning and navigating new systems, be adaptable and flexible in their approach to their work, and be available for full-time hours.

A clean driver's license and safe driving record are required for this role.

Strong health and safety awareness and compliance are also key.

This temporary work assignment will last for around 3 months but could extend longer to suit the needs of the client.

An hourly rate will be negotiated depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
