**About this opportunity**
Flight Plastics in Lower Hutt, Wellington has now closed the loop for recycling PET packaging in New Zealand, and this material is available to our Australian customers as well
Reporting to the Quality, Safety and Environment Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating processes, and the implementation, monitoring and review of management and compliance systems across a complex working environment.
**The opportunity**
This is a great opportunity to work with a motivated team to drive continuous improvement of our compliance systems, and to promote an effective Health & Safety and Food Safety workplace culture at all levels of the business.
This is a people-facing, high-impact role where your influence will make a tangible contribution to Safety, Quality and Environmental outcomes.
**About you**
Having a solid background in Health & Safety (perhaps as a graduate), you will provide sound advice, coaching and support for compliance and continuous improvement in the areas of Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental management.
Knowledge of Quality management systems, ISO standards, and Food Safety will be desirable.
Ideally, you may already have manufacturing experience to enable you to excel within a dynamic, professional team in providing systems control and guidance as well as face-to-face inductions and training to workers.
