**Main duties**:

- Assisting in processing carcasses of slaughtered livestock and preparing meat and meat products.
- Assisting in breaking down carcasses (beef, pork, lamb), boning, cutting, grinding, and preparing meat according to customer specifications, gutting and evisceration, pelting, and offal/tripe processing.
- Assisting in operating butchery machines such as bone saws, mincers, skinners, weighing scales, and vacuum sealers.
- Operating packing machines such as vacuum packers, pressers, stretch fil wrappers, boxing labels, weighing scales or machines, and other packaging equipment.
- Weighing, grading, and wrapping cut meats and preparing them for packaging, packing boned and sliced meat into cartons.
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers.
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the management to support the store's overall functioning.

**Job pre-requisites**:

- Be able to work from Tuesday to Sunday (8.00-18.30), 50 hours per week.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Previous experience with boning and other types of butcher knives is advantageous
- Must possess a keen eye for detail, a hard-working and good customer service attitude
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Must maintain personal cleanliness to ensure high standards of hygiene
