**M te tranga | About the role**

Youll be instrumental in supporting our clients to achieve their goals as you work alongside their whanau and employers to aid their recovery journey.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Providing in-clinic and community rehabilitation programmes
- Liaising with allied health team members
- Assessing clients situation including workplace and home safety
- Planning and directing therapy treatment, including physical and social activities
- Providing advice on equipment or recommend changes to home or work environments
- Observing and reporting on clients progress

To thrive at Strive, youll need:

- A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years post graduate experience ideally with exposure to a range of injuries and abilities
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to build strong professional relationships with patients, staff and stakeholders
- To be comfortable working independently but also enjoy being part of a team
- Sound clinical knowledge combined with appropriate therapeutic skills
- Holds a current annual practicing certificate and is NZROT registered
- A current, clean and full NZ Drivers licence
- Sound knowledge of Occupation and its relevance to health and well being

Youll also be required to undertake checks in accordance with the Vulnerable Childrens Act.
