Civil / Transport Engineer

Our Christchurch office is currently seeking a Civil / Transport Engineer to become an integral member of our Southern and National Transport team.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain good business relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure required project outcomes are met and client satisfaction is maintained at a high standard
- Help develop new and repeat business within the South Island Region and wider NZ as required through the delivery of high quality projects and assistance with bid preparation
- Project management and implementation of small to medium projects involving transportation investigation and reporting, economic evaluation, preparation of estimates, design, contract documentation and contract surveillance
- Provide technical input and leadership to projects - Including review QA/QC of project deliverables as Job Manager as applicable

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Tertiary qualified with minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation related projects
- Understanding of other Civil Engineering sectors, particularly around drainage, planning and environment
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Organised in multitasking of self and others and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to be proactive and take ownership of small to medium project
