We have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Christchurch. - As a Civil Engineer, you will manage your own projects, responsible for the preparation of detailed design and documentation for subdivisions, roading, earthworks, drainage and storm water design across residential, commercial and industrial developments.
- Working closely with our established clients in the region and nationally, ensuring we deliver cost effective and high-quality design.
- Production of detailed CAD drawings during resource consent, engineering plan approval, building consent as well as, tender and construction.- Design of waste water, stormwater and water supply infrastructure.- Design of stormwater attenuation, stormwater treatment and disposal systems.- Light and heavy-duty asphalt and concrete pavement design.- Earthwork and earthworks optimisation model development within Civil 3D.- Preparation of civil infrastructure design reports and design specifications.- Co-ordination of project documentation with internal and external consultants, contractors and clients.**We offer**

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 5-7 years professional experience as a Civil Engineer working in a similar environment.- Experience designing and detailing civil engineering projects in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.- Experience in hydraulic modelling - HEC:HMS/HEC:RAS/EPANET/RORB/Infoworks- Conversant with relevant NZ Building codes and statutory requirements. Design compliant with NZTA and NZBC and relative standards requirements.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and local councils as well as lead and contribute to project delivery- A natural organiser with a high attention to detail, you will be adept at managing your time to deliver client projects on time and within budget.- A high level of commercial awareness and financial competency**About us**
