**About the role**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Auckland Area Manager, you will lead the end-to-end operational performance of our Auckland processing teams. Your responsibilities will include workforce planning, onboarding and training staff, managing labour and rosters, ensuring compliance and safety, overseeing mail sorting and dispatch, and supporting billing accuracy and reporting.

This role is critical in maintaining a safe, productive, and motivated workplace culture focused on delivering premium mail and parcel services on time, every time. You will drive continuous improvement, cost control, and team development while collaborating closely with leadership and frontline staff.

This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, with AM and PM shifts), based at our Penrose site.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Proven experience leading operational teams in mail processing, logistics, or similar work environments.
- Strong skills in workforce planning, rostering, and labour cost management.
- Ability to onboard, coach, and develop diverse teams to achieve performance standards.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations with a commitment to a zero-harm workplace.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Competence in operational reporting, data analysis, and compliance management.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with flexibility to support various shifts and operational needs.
