As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients across New Zealand, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Airport Planner to join our Transport team based in Auckland.

As our new Senior Airport Planner, you will work collaboratively with other equivalent roles across the ANZ business to help develop and enhance Mott MacDonald’s brand in the Transport sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Development of airport masterplans and strategic planning
- Terminal demand and capacity assessment, functional layout planning, data analysis and interpretation thereof
- Preparation and review of spreadsheet analysis, written reports, presentations
- Scoping and undertaking studies on airfield layout, apron configuration and passenger terminal planning
- Providing support to the team in business development activities including contributing to tender submissions
- Actively engaging with Mott MacDonald global aviation network

About you:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport planning, with understanding of airfield planning, terminal planning, surface access planning, facilities planning ICAO and IATA standards
- A relevant first degree or equivalent qualification with preference for an air transport related post graduate qualification
- Very good command of passenger simulation modelling software, (CAST Terminal) required
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D
- Organised, detailed orientated, collaborative and team orientated
