**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
You will report to the Kaiwhakahaere Ako - Manager Educational Delivery and be responsible for:

- Coordinating Tauira placements in practice-based learning environments
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating professional supervision for tauira placements
- Carrying out evaluative visits
- Participating in tauira interview processes

Part of this role is to engage in kaiako activities and associated responsibilities as required. This may also include some teaching responsibilities as well as a strong research component.

The starting appointment range for this position is $58,304 - $65,593 (negotiable dependent on relevant qualifications, experience and technical skills).

**ABOUT YOU**:
You have experienced being, or working with, an Associate Teacher before; You have a wide range of Primary School networks; You can read people and place them where they best fit; and you are a personable person in person.

**Ideally, to be successful for this role, you will**:

- Have a level 5 teaching qualification, preferably in Adult Education
- Have extensive primary teaching experience (5+ years)
- Must be registered with the New Zealand Teachers Council and hold a current practicing certificate
- Portray a willingness to participate in Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga)
