**About the Role**
We are seeking an Intensive Care (ICU) Registrar to join our Intensive Care Unit here at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital commencing on 3 August 2026.

Our ICU is accredited as a C12 unit under the CICM training program, with endorsements for General, Rural, and Paediatric training.

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

Our ICU provides critical care for both adult and paediatric patients, managing complex cases and transporting patients within Hawkes Bay and to tertiary referral centres. Youll have opportunities to be involved in rotary wing and road transfers.

Hawkes Bay Hospital is a 400-bed secondary-level public hospital in Hastings, serving a population of over 180,000 people. We offer both acute and elective care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, including paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and more. Although we dont provide cardiothoracic and neurosurgery, we are supported by a strong regional ICU team, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population.

**About you**
- You have completed or planning to complete a BASIC within the first month of employment
- You are registered or eligible for general registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Up-to-date CV detailing full dates of employment.
