We are on search for a Governance & Democracy Advisor, who will, as part of a team, be a source of Governance support and advice to a range of parties including Elected members, General Managers and Team Leads.
You will also maintain the integrity of relevant systems and provide administration and systems support.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Advanced office management and general administration procedures.
- A proven track record of success in providing exceptional meeting, event and/or business support.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical, evaluative and problem solving abilities
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgement and discretion
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (construct resolution in meeting, create minutes in live time)
- Effective time management skills
- A proven ability to adapt and deal with changing priorities and requirements
- An applied understanding of standing orders
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in teams with the ability to contribute to decision making and planning processes
- Remains calm under pressure
