**Mō te tūranga | About the role**
- Sitting within the Communications team, you’ll be part of an in-house Communications and Marketing section, which includes design and digital channels, as well as social media.
- With this expertise at your fingertips, you’re well positioned to ensure the communications plans you develop roll out successfully with engaging content that reflect trends and best practice, and achieve agreed outcomes.
- This is a generalist role that provides communications support across our organisation, so you’ll be comfortable switching between multiple tasks and projects.
- Ideally, you’ll have some event management and internal communications experience.
- Analytical skills are important too, so you can report on and continuously improve the work you do against agreed metrics.

**Mō te tangata | About you**
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience delivering communications support and advice.
- Outgoing and confident and thrive working in a high pressure, fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Attention to detail and pride yourself on getting the job done.
- Able to write engaging content for print and digital, and have experience delivering multi-channel campaigns. Managing media is in your repertoire too.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Strategic and tactical thinking skills.
- Political awareness and skill in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues (including bi-cultural sensitivity).
- Proven success at building relationships and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field.
